A "Jo" used for enseeming a falcon. Here is the west we have used by tradition "rangle" which are small smooth river pebbles used to enseem a hawk or falcon. In northern China, south of the capitol Beijing I have on a number of occasions come across the use of a "Jo". This is a knot of natural twine which is soaked in water and then pushed into the crop of a falcon. This is believed to have the beneficial effect of cleansing the crop and panel.
