A Competition for the design of an FHT logo

Date: 09 May 2012

The Falconry Heritage Trust would like to announce a competition for the design of an FHT logo. The brief for the logo is –

  1. A stylized image, which will be produced later everywhere as a brand for FHT, on letter-heads, business-cards and any future production of FHT.
  2. It should be very simple in one colour, so that it works when printed only in black and white, and without tones (i.e. with hard edges).
  3. It should be clear as an image at the size of 1 cm (on a badge) and at 1 metre (on a banner or road sign).
  4. A falconer, trained raptor and some kind of falconry furniture object or clothing should be on the logo.

The definition of the word “Heritage” from Wikipedia - Heritage refers to something inherited from the past.

Deadline – 1st of July 2012.

Your idea does not have to be camera ready artwork. Please send it as a scanned image and the winning entry will be prepared professionally for printing.

The winner will be awarded by the book “Falconry celebrating a living heritage” by Dr Javier Ceballos and IWC. Motivate Publishing, 2009. 304 pp.
