Group of 14 silver print photographs, 6 3/4 by 5 inches to 4 by 3 inches, [Beijing, 1910-1929], Sold for US$ 2,750 (£1,849) inc. premium.
 
A group of portraits of various Chinese workers and personalities in Beijing and surrounding countryside including a falconer, several peasants performing various tasks, a washer woman, a street food vendor, a cafe scene, a rickshaw driver with passenger, two photographs of men smoking pipes, etc. An excellent group showing the people of the era.
