Paul Berthier was born in 1879 and worked with the Etling Foundry in Paris, along with the artists, Dominique Alonzo, Marcel Guillard and Demeter H. Chiparus. Etling Foundry pieces are famous for their innovative design and exceptional quality. In 1909 Berthier was a founder of “La Societe Anonyme Edmond Etling,” at the Rue De Paradis 29 in Paris.
