TUDOR LEATHER FALCON HOOD

Circa 16th century AD. A leather falconry hood for a hawk or falcon, with leather thongs in place; found with a coil of leather inside to preserve its shape. Leather, 20 grams, 38 mm. [No Reserve]

Found Bedfordshire, hidden in rafters of a Tudor barn.
