Very Good 18 C. Ottoman (?) Hawking / Falconry Drum - 11345.

This is a Hawking Drum, 18C. probably Ottoman (but can be Arab as well) used since early times in Falconry. Such
drums were used to scare the pray before releasing the falcon for the hunt. Truncated cone of cast bronze, 5 inches
diameter, 3 inches tall with the original leather. Binding threads are missing. Rare item.
