Bronze statue of Ieyasu Tokugawa in Sunpu Castle.  Tokugawa, Ieyasu (徳川 家康, January 31, 1543 – June 1, 1616) was the founder and first shogun of the Tokugawa shogunate of Japan; which effectively ruled Japan from the Battle of Sekigahara in 1600 until the Meiji Restoration in 1868.

Artist of the adult statues is Tatsuo Tsutsumi. They were made in 1973. The statue in the outdoor is located in Sumpu Castle Park (http://sumpu-castlepark.com/en). The statue in the house is displayed in Shizuoka-shi Cultural Assets Museum (http://www.city.shizuoka.jp.e.qv.hp.transer.com/000...).
