This large hand carved antique panel is from France and it dates to the mid-1800's. It is solid walnut finished to a pleasing medium/dark walnut color. This is a classic scene from the period when hunting scenes and themes were popular. The carving is very deep and three dimensional: notice the fine detail in all parts of this woodcarving. It is in very good antique condition with only minor nick and scratches. Dimensions: 27" tall, 15" wide, and 2" thick.
