Stunning all white Nymphenburg Falconer on his stallion steed !!! We believe this to be part of the falconer series that was done by Nymphenburg , not sure of the time frame. The figurine is 8 inches tall by 10 inches long on a scrolled base. Look at the detail--- The riding boots with spurs, the horse blanket, the dagger, the detail in the falconer's dress, buttons, etc., the tri cornered hat and we could go on and on. The horse is in full gallop with tail flying, the falcon with wings out and the riders tails flapping in the wind. This is just a great piece of workmanship all the way around. The figurine is not mint as it is missing parts of the reins and the horses tail has at one time been broken off and reglued. Our opening price reflects these faults. In spite of these faults this is an outstanding and from what we can gather, a hard to come by figurine. The figurine is marked on the bottom with the green Nymphenburg mark, the incised mark, 270, and 5. Please take a look at our pictures and e-mail us with any questions before bidding.
